Nishant Pitti to Sell Entire 14.21% Stake in EaseMyTrip via Block Deal on Tuesday
Nishant Pitti, the co-founder of EaseMyTrip, is set to sell his remaining 14.21% stake in the company through a block deal scheduled for Tuesday, December 31, 2024. The deal, valued at approximately ₹780 crore, involves the sale of 50 crore shares at a price of ₹15.6 per share.
Institutional investors likely to participate in the deal include CRAFT Emerging Market Fund PCC – Citadel Capital Fund, Elite Capital Fund, Multitude Growth Funds Limited, Nexpact Limited, and Eminence Global Fund.
This move comes after Pitti previously sold a 14% stake in the company in September 2024, raising ₹920 crore through open market transactions.
Following reports of the stake sale, shares of EaseMyTrip’s parent company, Easy Trip Planners, saw a sharp decline, dropping nearly 10% during early trading on December 31, 2024.
